The John T. Gorman Foundation recently announced its 2021 Direct Services Grants, awarding a total of $1 million to 71 organizations who are addressing the immediate needs of vulnerable Mainers in all 16 counties. York County Community Action’s Transportation program was awarded $15,000, “to support same-day transportation services for York County residents, so they may meet essential, urgent needs.” The Foundation will include link to the submitted photos of grant recipients in its newsletter on Thursday, but has shared it with us to view early. We are extremely grateful for the grant, and thank The John T. Gorman Foundation for its continued support of our mission.
