Most of you know by now that Liza Harriman, our Director of HR, recently submitted her resignation. Liza is returning to Florida to be closer to her family; her last day will be December 9. I want to thank Liza for accomplishing a lot in her time here. Liza has brought great leadership and energy to the position. I know you will join me in thanking Liza for her contributions to YCCAC and wishing her the best.
With Liza’s departure, we thought it was important to bring in a contract position person to provide support for this role during the transition. We believe we’ve found the right person, with the help of KMA HR consulting. Starting in mid-December, Jean Marchant will be our interim HR Director, while we seek a permanent candidate. Jean joined KMA earlier this year and brings over 20 years of experience in HR to the team, supporting clients and companies in a diverse array of industries and sizes.
Jean’s first day will be Monday, December 12. Jean will be in the office on Wednesdays and Fridays (Thursday and Friday on her first week). She will also be working remotely and available by email/phone on all other days. In addition to Jean, Christy, Jeannine and Sally are available for support, if needed.
