Dear YCCAC/Nasson Health Care Staff:
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that the Board has appointed Carter Friend as the next Executive Director of our organization. There is no duty that the Board takes more seriously than selecting YCCAC’s leader, and after many months and a thorough review of candidates, we were unanimous in our decision to offer the position to Carter.
Thank you for your patience during our search process. Barbara will continue to be with us until the end of the summer, allowing plenty of time for a smooth transition period. Carter will assume his new role effective September 1, 2022.
I’d like to thank all of the Board members who generously gave many hours of their time over the past several months as we worked through the selection process. And a special thank you to Barb Wentworth, who worked with us in a consulting role as we conducted our search.
As you know, Carter has been with YCCAC as our Deputy Director for nearly five years now. Over the next few days and weeks, you will be hearing more about Carter’s vision for the future of our organization and the important work and opportunities that lie ahead.
