Message from the Executive Director

Dear YCCAC/Nasson Staff:

In our Holiday greeting to you, I told you that I was optimistic that 2022 could be a good year for our organization, filled with change and opportunity.

Today, I want to let you know of one change you can expect later this year. I am planning on moving on from YCCAC, after an even dozen years as Executive Director.

YCCAC/Nasson is held in high regard by the clients and patients we serve, by our funding sources and donors, and by our community partners. That is true because your work matters. Your efforts and passion change individual lives and improve conditions in the communities we serve.

That won’t change when a new Executive Director is appointed. Our organization isn’t strong and effective because of one individual. It is strong and effective because, and only because, of our shared commitment to advancing our mission and our willingness to work as a team.

And lest you are tempted to start treating me like the proverbial lame duck, please know that you will have to put up with me through the end of August. The Board of Directors is preparing a process to select a successor, and that work will take them several months.

Thank you again for your hard work.
