It is a common, even routine, part of our lives now: wearing face coverings. And it’s one of the easiest and most effective ways to guard against contracting—or spreading—the coronavirus. (Social distancing and hand-washing are high among the others.)
The Wellness Works learning session “Masks and More,” delivered remotely last week by Abby DiPasquale , drew a large and appreciative crowd. Abby covered the basics: how the coronavirus is transmitted, how face coverings help to keep it from spreading, and how (and how not) to wear a mask. She offered instructions on making your own mask, and gave tips on how to more easily breathe in a mask.
