Kennebunk Savings in Eliot has been hard at work lately—and not only in banking. Workers from that branch office have on three occasions over the past few weeks assembled face masks to donate to local nonprofits—including York County Community Action Corporation—for distribution throughout the community. Heather Roberge, a Community Outreach worker in YCCAC’s Kittery office, received 155 of the hand-sewn masks. She said that the first donation was made to a local nonprofit, which gave her masks for the Economic Opportunity team. The second a third donations were made to YCCAC—the third from a direct request, so that Outreach workers will have masks available for clients when they begin in-person meetings again.
Our thanks to the staff of Kennebunk Savings’ Eliot branch for helping to keep our community safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
