
Rent Relief Trainer
52 Weeks a year; 40 hours per week
The Rent Relief Trainer trains staff, ensures accuracy, completes intake,
and determines eligibility for the Rent Relief Program.
Job Summary
• Assists with interviewing, hiring, and evaluation of program staff.
• Provides training and support as needed to program staff.
• Supports the Rent Relief Manager and Director of Energy Services.
• Develops training materials.
• Provides appropriate referrals to other departments within the agency.
• Supports the mission of the organization in supporting both the coordination and integration of services and programs.
• Maintains confidentiality of client records in accordance with YCCAC policies.
• Gathers the necessary documents and information to complete an application.
Qualifications
• High School education required.
• Ability to clearly explain program requirements and accurately transcribe and document the information necessary to process application in a timely fashion.
• Ability to organize and review data for accuracy and completeness.
• Excellent math skills.
• Exemplary customer services skills.
• Must enjoy servicing others and working in a collaborative environment.
• Working knowledge of office equipment, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Must not have an active record on the System for Award Management (SAM) website.

Rent Relief Assistant Manager
52 Weeks a year; 40 hours per week
The Rent Relief Assistant Manager assists the Rent Relief Manager in the daily management of the Rent Relief Department. Troubleshoots as necessary, the day-to-day operations of the Rent Relief Program, including intake, income documentation, data entry and certification or denials of applications.
Job Summary
• Assists Rent Relief Manager in supervising agency Rent Relief program staff. Displays integrity; listens actively and genuinely; and, provides both verbal and written communication that is clear and concise.
• Approves staff timecards and time off requests.
• Responds to Maine State Housing Authority and other funder inquiries.
• Oversees progress of internal agency referrals.
• Performs quality control monitoring of staff.
• Supports the mission of the organization in supporting both the coordination and integration of services and programs.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of three years of customer service experience required.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and efficient decisions.
• Ability to clearly explain program requirements to applicants and to accurately transcribe and document the information necessary to process application in a timely fashion.
• Willingness and ability to travel to other agency sites and have dependable transportation.
• Ability to organize and review data for accuracy and completeness.
• Must not have an active record on the System for Award Management (SAM) website.
