Google Meet


If you need to use Google Meet to have meetings with your clients please read the following notice. Google Meets requires all users to be logged into Google in order to use the service. Some users may have already created a personal google account with their WORK email address. If you browse to https://www.google.com and check in the top right corner to see if you are logged in what email address you are logged in with. If you are logged in with a “@yccac.org” email address please start at refer to “Already have a work google account” below. If you are not logged in or logged in with another email address. Please refer to “Not logged into google” below.

VERY IMPORTANT - If you have created a google account with your personal email address you WILL NOT be allowed to use this to conduct YCCAC business with that account as part of our policies.

Already have a work google account: -Contact IT and let them know you already have a google account and need to authorize it. -You will receive a confirmation email for you to transfer your account into our Business account. (See Below) Click “Transfer Account” and follow the instructions in the browser to complete the transfer. -Once complete you can browse to https://meet.google.com, login with your business ready account and enter a code. Or you can click links directly from your email to join a Google Meet.



Not logged into Google (Need an account):

-Contact IT and let them know that you do not have a google account.

-You will receive a confirmation email as shown below. Click “Sign in”.


-The browser will open and show you the welcome screen. Read over the agreement and click “I understand”.


-On the next screen create a password with at least 6 characters, 1 letter and 1 number.

-Once complete you can browse to https://meet.google.com, login with your business ready account and enter a code. Or you can click links directly from your email to join a Google Meet.
