Barbara Crider and Carter Friend met with U. S. Senator Susan Collins Monday to discuss the Community Services Block Grant Modernization Act. This piece of federal legislation would re-authorize CSBG for another 10 years, expand the number of clients we can service with the grant funds, and increase significantly the amount of funding we receive to do this important work.
Senator Collins has been a strong supporter of many of the programs we administer at YCCAC, and she expressed her eagerness for the CSBG Modernization Act to become law.
