Last Tuesday we saw quite a bit of action during the United Way's ‘Day of Action’ event. Workers from Fiber Materials Inc. and The Baker Company, both local companies, each sent six workers to help us weed, landscape and spread mulch. The landscape is now refreshed and ready to bloom, since the team of volunteers made great progress and spread the entire mulch delivery. They even got to Crider Gardens to do some additional landscaping.
Thanks to our hardworking Facilities crew who supervised (as well as worked!) and set things up so the volunteers could be their most efficient.
