In May, Children’s Services underwent a Focus Area One Federal Review. This is an off-site review of data and documents, conducted over a series of Zoom meetings with an Office of Head Start reviewer. The review focuses on program services and ensuring that there are strong systems in place to meets Head Start Performance Standards. The FA1 Review meetings were with members of Children’s Services leadership and program coordinators; but it takes a TEAM to run a successful program and to ensure that we are providing the best possible service to our children and families. We received notification that our program was fully compliant in all areas reviewed.
I would like to express my deepest thanks to each and every member of the Children’s Services team. The work you do—our work—is important and meaningful, delivering positive impact that can last a lifetime. The FA1 Review that rated us compliant in all areas would not have been possible but for you.
